#1 Scrub in the shower
Your face that is. Don’t think exfoliating is only reserved for the fairer skin. Men too like all other humans shed skin and will need help sloughing off dead skin cells to reveal healthier looking skin.
Most men might find this a chore to keep up with, so the next best thing is to incorporate a facial exfoliation in the shower, 3 to 4 times a week. Start making this part of your routine and it’s easier to remember when it’s part of your shower routine, especially if you keep the exfoliator in the shower too. It definitely won’t be a case of out of sight, out of mind.

#2 Shave while (or just after) you shower
Having a small mirror in the shower will save you lots of pain (literally) when it comes to shaving in the shower. If you’re onto Hack #1 and shave immediately that, you can be sure of a really smooth and close shave.
Don’t forget to apply an alcohol-free aftershave after to soothe and hydrate your skin.
#3 Moisturise before you shave
If the idea of shaving in the shower is not your cup of tea and you’re not a fan of shave irritation, try applying face moisturiser before attempting a shave. This not only hydrates the skin, it also prevents nicks, razor burns and ingrown hairs. No one needs these in their lives.
OR you can us a pre-shave oil or a non-lathering shave cream. The goal is to give your face a great shave while keeping it well moisturised and protected.

#4 Use dual purpose products
Hacks are all about efficiency and nothings says efficiency better than products that serve dual purposes in half the time. For instance a face wash that imparts a layer of protective sunscreen that stays on till your next wash? If that isn’t time saving, I don’t know what is. This is also a great way to ensure that the all-important sunscreen step is not missed out.
